Rhodes Architecture has been committed to crafting breathtaking, environmentally friendly, and useful spaces since 1994. We understand that architecture is more than just constructing a building; it's about forming a connection between people and their environment and creating spaces that are meaningful and enjoyable to inhabit.

As the Founder and Principal in Charge, Scott is an architectural generalist with over 400 projects completed since 1994, excelling at all aspects of practice. A designer with a strong grasp of code and constructability, Scott provides clients and teams with high value for their projects and budget. 

 

Throughout his career, Scott has held various leadership roles in large organizations, often progressing up the ranks quickly.  When he stepped into a Partner role at Pacific Design Group, he increased profitability by 60%. During his tenure as Director for BCRA, Scott led a 30-person team to deliver outstanding results on over $30M in construction projects.  As Principal Architect for Innova Architects, Scott headed up several Port & DoD projects resulting in ongoing successful partnerships.  

 

Scott is recognized for his amazing ability to troubleshoot difficult projects and projects that need a re-design for value engineering due to running over budget.  
 

Scott graduated from WSU with a bachelor's in Architecture and is currently licensed in Washington and California with inactive licenses in OR, ID, and AZ.  He has held several board member positions including the American Institute of Architects AIA SWW, Green Council President Associated Builders, and Contractors.

Scott resides in Gig Harbor with his wife Charlotte, and their Australian Shepard, Bodie.  He enjoys bicycling, diving, and flying, and hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

With an extensive background in real estate and property management, Charlotte has successfully managed diverse property management companies up to 2400 units with a portfolio mix of class A-C multi-family properties, luxury single-family homes, and estates, to commercial mixed-use buildings and spaces.  Her love of architecture has been the motivating factor for her career. 

    

Charlotte was previously Director of Property Management at Elite Pacific Properties in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she managed a portfolio of 400 single-family luxury homes and estates, including new developments in Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.

 

She is recognized for her excellent customer service skills and consistently maintained 4.5 out of 5-star client ratings. Charlotte has been successful in designing unique product lines to penetrate unexplored markets and increase revenue growth from 6-figures to multimillions.

 

Charlotte also participates in various organizations and is a member of the Washington Multi-Family Housing Organization and the Hawaii Association of Realtors. In the past, she served as Secretary of the Elite Charitable Organization.

Charlotte currently resides in Gig Harbor with her husband Scott, and their Australian Shepard, Bodie.  She’s an avid hiker and snorkeler and travels extensively in Hawaii and the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  They enjoy glamping on the weekends.
